An Abstracted State of Mind

Created as an exercise in stepping outside of introspection, this piece began as a challenge to move away from the deeply internal narratives that often guide my work. Instead, I approached the canvas more instinctively; allowing fragmented thoughts, symbols, and gestures to build over one another without forcing meaning too early.
 
 
Yet despite the attempt to escape inward reflection, the work ultimately led me back to the place I know most intimately, the room that symbolizes my inner world. My mind.
