Morphing City
Morphing City is a 1-of-1 hand-drawn illustration that continues my exploration of layered line work and visual transformation. The piece blends fragmented faces with architectural elements, allowing human expression and city structures to merge into a single evolving composition.
Through continuous, flowing line work, the illustration moves between identity and environment; where buildings become faces, and faces dissolve back into the rhythm of the city. This shifting visual language reflects the fluid relationship between self and surroundings, memory and place, structure and emotion.
Created in a single sitting, this original 9x12 illustration carries an intricate, meditative energy. The interconnected forms invite the viewer to move through the composition slowly, discovering new details and meanings as the image continues to unfold.
